Vedurvaktin ehf. is a consultancy firm owned by meteorologist Einar Sveinbjörnsson. Vedurvaktin provides weather services to individuals, companies and public entities, and provides general consultancy services and data processing in diverse fields relating to weather and climate. Projects include specific weather forecasts for individual projects and events, the processing of meteorological observations, provision of advice in planning work and for practical projects, and for any form of operation that is dependent on weather. Moreover, Vedurvaktin prepares weather forecasts for the media as well as preparing educational and reference material
